Mumbai University Announces Additional Entrance Test for MMS, MCA Admissions

The University of Mumbai's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) has announced an additional online entrance examination for admission to its Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes for the 2026-27 academic year, giving another opportunity to candidates who missed the earlier test or could not appear despite registering.

The additional entrance examination will be held on August 16, 2026, while online applications will remain open until August 10 through the CDOE admission portal.

The MMS programme, approved by the UGC and AICTE, has an intake of 720 seats and offers specialisations in Human Resources, Finance and Marketing. The MCA programme has 2,000 seats and is designed to equip students with advanced computing and software development skills.

University officials said the additional examination is intended to ensure that eligible candidates who missed the first entrance test do not lose the opportunity to seek admission. Detailed information on eligibility, fees and the application process is available on the university's CDOE admission portal.
