Mumbai University has issued a statement mentioning that they shall not be providing additional supplements to students appearing in exams, as many of them went missing during evaluation. In the upcoming exams, students will not get any extra supplement and this shall be applicable for all the subjects.

MU recently was under question, for not delivering their best during online assessment. As per the reports, this move has been taken as many of the supplements went missing during the assessment which delayed the results. Moderators had to give marks on the basis of their answer sheets, explained Mumbai University officials.

The officials believe that a student can solve an 80 marks paper in given 40 pages answer sheet and hence, it is assumed that no additional supplement shall be provided. Other colleges and educational institutions have also been asked to follow the same.

Mumbai Live believes that this decision is unfair as it restricts students from delivering the best. Not being able to manage answer sheets and additional supplements is an issue the university should solve, with other solutions, and not at the cost of students' aspirations and efforts. This move should be raised with the higher officials at the respective department in the government and necessary changes in the assessment should be implemented, rather than finding irrelevant solutions.
