Dadar- Facebook is usually used for sharing posts and hitting likes but these youngsters are using it for a social cause. In 2011 they formed ‘Facebook Ambedkar Rights Movement’ (FAM) where like-minded youngsters came together and thought of doing something for society. Finally, in 2015 they came up with an initiative titled ‘One Book One Pen’ wherein they donated 25,000 books and pen to the poor students. “This year we are planning to cater 1.5 lakh books and pen to give it to the poor students. Those who are not able to come and donate can propagate this idea in their area and carry forward the initiative," said Snehal Jadhav, member, FAM. Whereas the other member Rahul Fale said that followers should bring in pen and book instead of flowers which will help poor students to learn and write.
