Shardashram school name row: There won't be any changes

In order to prepare students for today's competitive age, Dadar's Shardashram Vidyamandir School had decided to implement the ICSE curriculum with the sole purpose of giving them the best educational facilities. They said that they did not take this decision with haste and had informed parents as well.

Meanwhile, they also cleared that they have changed the name of the school to SVM International School for internal purpose, in other cases, the school will be known as 'Shardashram Vidyamandir'.

The school officials also spoke on ICSE and SSC syllabus adding that they spoke to the parents about switching to ICSE curriculum from SSC and they got the consent from the parents.

Meanwhile, this organisation had decided to get the required permissions to commence the ICSE or CBSE schools and presented the same in the Executive Board meeting on November 5, 2016. For the same, they decided to take help of a company Messers Flox Education Private Limited, which is considered to be a reputable one.

Under the guidance of the organisation, it has been decided that the school will start the syllabus of ICSE for first to fifth class from the academic year 2018-19. For this syllabus, the school submitted its proposal to the state government on July 26, 2017. The government approved the same on November 13, 2017, said the school officials.
