The third merit list Mumbai FYJC admissions has been released by the education department. Accordingly, the students who have applied for admission in their desired colleges can visit the School Education and Sports Department (SESD), Government of Maharashtra website to check the status of their application.
The students can check as well as download the third merit list results on the SESD website, i.e. mumbai.11thadmission.net. The applicants who have made the cut and desire to secure admission will have to visit the college and complete the admission procedure by August 5.
According to reports, a total of 3.19 lakh seats have been available this year for FYJC admissions across 849 colleges in Mumbai. Out of which, 1.87 lakh seats are yet to be filled. But due to the high cut-off percentage and fierce competition among the candidates, the students are expected to have a tough time seeking admissions in desired colleges even after the declaration of the third merit list.
In the earlier two rounds, only 1.3 lakh seats across Mumbai were claimed by the students. Meanwhile, the Second Merit List for FYJC admissions was released on July 22 but due to a high cut-off in prominent colleges, students were unwilling to secure admission in other colleges.
