University of Bristol to Open Campus in Mumbai

The University of Bristol, one of the United Kingdom’s top-ranking institutions, has received official approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to establish a new campus in Mumbai. This makes it the sixth foreign university to set up a presence in the city.

During the NEP 2020 anniversary celebrations held in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Letter of Intent was formally handed over to Professor Evelyn Welch, Vice Chancellor and President of the University of Bristol, by Vineet Joshi, Secretary of Higher Education and Acting UGC Chairman.
