Mumbai- Madame Tussaud's museum is about to set up its first permanent display wax museum in India at Regal cinema, New Delhi. The marquee rulers fans have demanded that the wax statue of the late superstar Rajesh Khanna's statue should be put up. A petition has been filed for the same.
Rajesh Khanna was touted as the first superstar of Indian cinema with 15 hits from 1969-1972 , including Aradhana, Anand, Amarprem. He acted in 106 films as a lead. He succumbed to cancer in 2012. His abode Aashirwad at Carter road fell prey to re-development last year.
