Marathi veteran actor Ravindra Berde passes away in Mumbai

Veteran Marathi actor Ravindra Berde has passed away. He breathed his last in Mumbai at the age of 78. Ravindra Berde was suffering from throat cancer for some time. He was undergoing treatment at Tata Hospital in Mumbai. He was brought home two days ago. However, he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Ravindra Berde was the brother of late actor Laxmikant Berde. Both of them had worked together in many superhit films.

Ravindra Berde created a distinct identity in Marathi cinema with his acting. He worked in a film for the first time at the age of 20. He worked in many Marathi films like Changu Mangu, Hach Sunbai Cha Bhau, Khatarnak, Hamal De Dhamaal, Thartharat, Uchla Re Uchla.

Apart from this, Berde also worked in Hindi films. There is deep mourning in the cinema world due to the sudden death of such a veteran actor. Ravindra Berde suffered a heart attack during the play ‘Vyakti Aani Valli' in 1995. After 2011 he was suffering from cancer.
