Nawazuddin to play Balasaheb Thackeray in his biopic?

Talks about Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray's biopic has been in the air for a long time. Makersof the film have been looking for the actor who will perfectly fit for the main character and as per the reports, it seems like the search is complete.

If sources are to be believed, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has played every role to his best, has been finalised for the role of Bal Thackeray. There is no doubt that Nawaz is one of the best actors of today's era and if he chooses to play the role, it will be the first time that he will become part of any biopic.

Earlier, there was news that Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan could play the role of Bal Thackeray, who has played the role of Subhash Nagare in ‘Sarkar,’ inspired by Bal Thackeray, and role with his chaacter was loved by audience always, including all the sequels. He will also be present at the first look launch of the film which will be released on December 21, 2017

The script of this biopic is written by Rajya Sabha member and spokesperson of Shivsena Sanjay Raut. On being asked about the film and if role is being played by Nawaz, Sanjay said that everyone will have to wait till the launch of the first look of the film. As per records, he has been working for the last four years.

Adding more to the thought, he also mentioned that he has spent a lot of time with Balasaheb and there is so much from Balasaheb’s life that needs be shown on the big screen, and firmly believes that his story should be presented as a feature film.
