Akshay Kumar has been hospitalised after testing positive for the coronavirus on April 4. He shared a post on Instagram on Sunday, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself.” On Monday, he said he has been hospitalised as a precautionary measure, "Thank you, everyone, for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care.” The actor was shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu.

Govinda has tested positive for COVID-19. His wife, Sunita Ahuja who recently recovered from the infection herself confirmed the news. She said, “He is doing fine, has very mild symptoms, and has quarantined at home and we are constantly in touch with the doctor who is guiding us and keeping an eye on his symptoms."
"After him testing positive, we all got ourselves tested and everybody at home has tested negative, including the staff." The actor and his family live in Juhu, Mumbai.
