Hotstar cancels season 3 of ‘On Air with AIB’ after misconduct allegations

Bollywood’s #MeToo movement is now wide-spreading across the digital platform. On October 8, 2018, Tanmay Bhat and Gurusimran Khamba, CO-founders of All India Bakchod (AIB) stepped down following the allegations of misconduct and AIB sheltering the likes of Utsav Chakraborty.

AIB published a statement saying that Rohan Joshi, Ashish Shakya, and other seniors will be heading the AIB team henceforth. In another setback to AIB, online streaming platform Hotstar has canceled their production of season 3 of ‘On Air with AIB’.

Hotstar shared the statement on Twitter.

On October 8, Tanmay Bhat was accused of sexual misconduct in a tweet which was later deleted. Similarly, Khamba was accused of emotional blackmail and abuse on Twitter.

Following the tweet, Khamba posted his reply on Facebook admitting he committed a mistake and apologised as well.
