Mumbai - ‘Muranjan Festival’ of the Sydenham College concluded here on Friday night. Joshi Bedekar College won the competition while Kirti College and Vartak College stood on second and third positions. The audience attending the festival were overwhelmed by the presentation of excellent one-act plays. Five one-act plays namely ‘Asan-Nasan’ (Joshi Bedekar College), AIDS (Kirti College), Mazaar (Vartak College), Bunde (Sathye College) and Palna (Somaiya College) entertained the audience in the final round. Rujuta Deshmukh and Madhura Velankar-Satam worked as judges of this contest. Winners of different contest held under the festival were given away prizes at the hands of chief guest Sushant Shelar.
