Mumbai- Tickets for Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber's maiden Mumbai concert will be available from noon today on Book my Show.
Media reports suggest that while the starting price of the tickets has been pegged at Rs 4000, this is expected to skyrocket soon to around Rs 76,000.
The high ticket prices not withstanding, Bieber's - as the youth icon's fans are called - are expected to shell out the extra money for a glimpse of the pop star who is soon setting out on his global 'Purpose' tour. Bieber will perform at the D Y Patil stadium on 10 May.
The guest list for the show comprises the who's who of Bollywood, Sports and politics. In November 2016, the Coldplay event held at the MMRDA'S grounds in Mumbai was billes to be the biggest ever and tickets were sold for Rs 25000.
Will Bieber outshine Coldplay in the popularity stakes? While the Coldplay audience was a more mature one, young Mumbaikars might just show more love for Bieber by allowing ticket prices to go through the roof. Watch this space for updates.
