RRR fame actor Ray Stevenson passes away at 58

The 'RRR' team has expressed their condolences on the demise of Ray Stevenson. A tribute has been paid to him from the social media page of 'RRR'. "This is shocking news for our team," the post said. The film's director SS Rajamouli also mourned his death through an Insta story.

Ray Stevenson played the villainous role of Governor Scott Buxton in the movie 'RRR'. His role was liked by the audience. He has acted in the only Indian film 'RRR'. He started working in serials and films in the 90s.

After 'RRR', Ray Stevenson was seen in the movie 'Accident Man: Hitman Holiday'. He has also worked in the films 'Thor' and 'Thor: The Dark World'.

The official Twitter handles of Thor and Marvel Studios shared a picture of Ray Stevenson as Volstagg and captioned it, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ray Stevenson, who brought humour and wit to the character of Volstagg. He was a wonderful actor who will be deeply missed, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”

In Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars, Ray has played the role of Gar Saxon and will be seen in Star Wars live-action series Ahsoka as the antagonist Baylan Skoll. A tweet from the official handle of Star Wars read: “We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of our dear friend Ray Stevenson.”
