Charni Road - Padma Bhushan awardee director and screenwriter Shyam Benegal was present in the town to inaugurate the Film society under the banner of Hinduja College. The inauguration was conducted on Thursday at 3.00 p.m. Present during the programme were Kiran V. Shantaram, chairman Federation of Film societies of India and Sudhir Nandgaonkar Vice-Chairman Federation of Film societies of India. This society will surely produce bright talents in the filmmaking category.
