Mulund - World Sparrow Day is celebrated on 20 March across the world. Deforestation is causing the extinction of sparrows from the city.
Construction on the forest land is causing loads of pollution and is harmful to the sparrows. Abhijeet Chavan foundation has taken an initiative of building artificial bird houses for the sparrows in Mulund. Around 100 bird houses will be constructed.
