Rains to subside in Maharashtra including Mumbai from September 30

The entire state witnessed rains last week. There was heavy rain in Mumbai and other parts of the state. Meanwhile, the heavy rains will subside in the state including Mumbai from September 30. Therefore, there will not be much rain from now on. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be occasional light showers.

The rains, which had a break in Mumbai for a few days, made a strong appearance last week. The rains were active everywhere in the state too. After that, the rains have taken a break again since Monday.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that the intensity of rain will decrease across the state from September 30 as a low pressure system has moved towards Gujarat. Therefore, there will be no more heavy rains. The temperature is likely to increase due to the rains. The temperature is currently between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius. This is expected to increase further. Due to this, it is necessary for citizens to take necessary precautions.

Low Pressure Area

A prominent low pressure area is active over the Gulf of Khumbhata and its vicinity. Adjacent to it is a cyclonic circulation at a height of 7.6 km above sea level.

This system, which is moving towards the Arabian Sea, is likely to intensify on Wednesday. A low pressure area is active from this system to the west-central Bay of Bengal.

There are indications that a new low pressure area will form in the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday due to a cyclonic circulation in the North Andaman Sea. As a result of this, as well as the return journey of the monsoon winds, there is a possibility of rain in the state once again.

The monsoon winds have retreated from Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on Friday. Also, the return journey of monsoon winds started from some parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh. The monsoon winds up to Veraval, Bharuch, Ujjain, Jhansi, Shahjahanpur remained intact on Monday. The return journey of the monsoon winds has been steady for the past three-four days.
