R.D. National College Holds A National Colloquium

Rishi Dayaram (R.D.) National College held a national colloquium – Institutional Social Responsibility for a Greener Campus to raise awareness about environment conservation among students. Over 40 colleges in the city participated in it.

The aim of the colloquium was to make people aware of sustainability beyond the college campus and how we can implement some eco-friendly measures in our homes and neighbourhoods. Talking about the same, R.D. National's Vice-Principal Neha Jagtiani said that through the colloquium they want every individual to adopt measures like rainwater harvesting, waste recycling etc to conserve the environment. 

Notably, K.G. Mittal college in Malad has implemented vertical gardens, solar panels and waste management in their campus.
