Mulund- the Heramb Sangeet Kala Academy conducted a Malwani fair at the Neelam Nagar grounds recently.
Along with this, a ‘mangla gaur’ programme, the traditional all night song and dance event for married women, was also held on Sunday. The event witnessed a huge turnout by local women who participated wearing traditional outfits. “We wanted to give women a chance to enjoy their lives as they are always busy in their daily routine,” said Savita Hande, president, Heramb Sangeet Kala Academy.
