Akshay Tritiya is on the coming Friday, it is considered one of the most auspicious occasions to buy a precious metal, primarily gold. Sale of gold jewellery is expected to rise on the eve of Akshay Tritiya. On the eve of the propitious day, 28 April all the ornaments which are offered to Lord Ganesha in Siddhivinayak Temple will be up for auction. Ornaments include gold jewellery, chains, necklaces and much more. The auction is scheduled from 11 am – 5 pm.
