Bandra- It is said that Muharram has a history which is seldom known to all. Late Imam Hussain Karbala sacrificed his life and was not given water for three days. Because of which, Muslim community gives water to people. Bandra's Bazaar road was all ready for the procession of Muharram. The tenth day of Muharram is known as 'Ashore' during which, the muslim community distributes food and drinks. During this day, Shia Muslim mourn while Sunni Muslim offer prayers at Mosque.
