Mumbai's dabbawalas are on a civic mission, apparently. Till last month, they were giving out messages in lunch boxes exhorting the Mumbaikar to go out and vote.
Today, they have been handing out mineral water bottles to their customers. Only, these bottles are filled with natural colours and are accompanied by a message that appeals to citizens to save water on the festival of Holi.
Mumbai's dabbawalas are well known not only for fulfilling their commitment to serving Mumbaikars on time every day. They appear to have taken on the additional mantle of spreading awareness among Mumbaikars.
