‘Ganpati Bappa Morya...Pudhcya Varshi Lavkar Ya...’ were the words echoing across all chowpatties in Mumbai. Mumbaikars bid adieu to their favourite deity after 12-day-long Ganesh Festival. Household and public Ganpati idols were immersed with a teary farewell except for Lalbaug cha Raja and other sarvajanik mandal which will be immersed on Wednesday morning. To get a final glimpse of lord Ganesha, devotees thronged Girgaon, Dadar, Juhu and Versova Chowpatty.
