Parel - Eco-friendly lanterns (kandil) have become a new trend in the market. The Utsavi Organisation has put lanterns on sale in the market. Normally, costing around Rs 750, the organisation is selling the lanterns at Rs 490. "It all depends on the sale, if we get a good response, there will be more of eco-friendly lanterns in Diwali 2017," said Utsavi owner Nanasaheb Shendkar.
