Mumbai - BEST will start new buses to ease the transportation amidst hustle & bustle of Diwali festival. Areas witnessing huge footfall for shopping are Mahatma Phule market, Dadar, Bandra, Kalbadevi, APMC market & Vashi. Considering this, more BEST Buses will ply till 28 October in those areas. People travel to different places to meet and greet their relatives, friends, etc. Keeping this in consideration on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj i.e., 1 November, 133 extra buses will run in different locations - Mumbai City, Western Suburbs, Mira Road, Bhayander, Nerul, Airoli, Cadbury Junction and Kopar Khairane.
