Lower Parel - The Jay Bhavani Navratri Utsav Mandal has been celebrating the festival for the last 56 years and is regarded as the 'mauli' - the mother goddess of the region. Mill workers in the area have been celebrating this festival with fervour and enthusiasm. This year, a five feet high idol has been placed for worship and like every year, various cultural programmes are being organised through the ten day festivities.
