Xmas gift for Meghwadi police colony

Mumbai - 10 buildings inside the Meghwadi Police colony which were in a dilapidated state can breathe a sigh of life. The buildings which house 1079 residents will see redevelopment work starting in the last week of December. This is literally a Christmas gift for the families of the policemen who were residing in the decrepit buildings for many years. MLA from Jogeshwari constituency, Ravindra Waikar had initiated the Rs 8 crore proposal and requested the funds from the Maharashtra Police housing and welfare board. At length, the board has requisitioned the funds from the state public works department, enabling the work to get started.
