By 2019, 1 Rupee clinic will come up at 1000 railway stations

The central government has decided to give importance to the concept of 1 Rupee clinic and has decided to implement it on a wider scale. So far, this service is being provided at 20 railway stations in Mumbai. On the lines of same, this kind of clinics will be provided to 7000 railway stations across the country including Mumbai.

By the end of 2019, the central government will be providing us space on 1000 railway stations to open 1 Rupee clinic. With this, we will serve one lakh patients on a daily basis,” Dr Rahul Ghule, Founder, 1 Rupee clinic.

Ghule added that they will be able to help 7 lakh patients on a daily basis if concepts like 1 Rupee clinic come up on 7000 railway stations.

These stations have 1 Rupee clinic

1 Rupee clinic started on May 10, 2017, at selected railway stations and later it was extended to Dadar, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Thane, Mulund, Wadala Road, and Vashi. They are planning to come up at Vikhroli, Kalwa, Mumbra, Diva.
