Zika is a viral disease spread by mosquitoes. It is spread by Aedes mosquitoes. This disease does not require hospitalisation and the mortality rate is also negligible. So there is no need to panic. However, do not ignore fever. If you have fever, you should immediately go to the government hospital. Stored water containers should be covered with cloth. Guppy fish or temephos dewormers should be used in reservoirs where the water cannot be drained. A mosquito net should be used. Stay fully clothed during the day. Under no circumstances should create a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
