Mira Bhayanda reports 42 New COVID-19; one death on December 1

Mira-Bhayandar reported 42 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally up to 24,222 on Tuesday (December 1). According to Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC), 44 people have completely recovered in the last 24 hours. One death has been registered in Mira-Bhayandar. So far, 22,881 have a complete recovery. The death toll stands at 758.

Out of these new cases,12 cases from Bhayandar East, 6 from Bhayandar West and 24 from Mira Road have been reported.

Maharashtra reported 4,930 new COVID-19 cases, 6,290 recoveries and 95 deaths on Tuesday (December 1), taking the total number of cases in the state to 18,28,826. There are 89,098 active cases in the state and 16,91,412 patients have recovered so far. The death toll is at 47,246 in Maharashtra.

Total 1,09,15,683 people have been tested in Maharashtra. The states recovery rate is 92.49 per cent. In the state, 5,38,084 persons are in-home quarantine while 6,420 persons are in institutional quarantine.

Meanwhile, India reported 36,604 new COVID-19 cases, 43,062 recoveries and 501 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally up to 94,99,414, according to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday (December 1). While in total 89,32,647 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,38,122 in the country. At present, there are 4,28,644 active cases. According to the ICMR, 14,24,45,949 samples have been tested up to December 1.
