The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) led KEM Hospital has ranked 6th across India in terms of service and hospitality shown towards patients and relatives.
Every year, 'The Week' magazine along with Nelson survey company carries out a country-wide survey. Last year, KEM Hospital was in the 9th position and this year it managed to grab the 6th position for the same.
I am very happy with the ranking, that we managed to come on 6th position. I am very thankful to my staff, without whom this would not have been possible," Dr Avinash Supe, Director, KEM Hospital.
Supe added that on a daily basis, around 1000 patients get admitted but the hospital staff proved that they can provide the best care to patients, come what may.
