Dadar - Dengue, chikungunya, malaria and jaundice have been spreading their tentacles in the city, but the BMC does not seem to be prepared to combat these diseases. The Palan Sojwal building in Dadar is a case in point. 80 residents of the building have been diagnosed with one of these fatal diseases. Water supply in the building has been traced as the major problem, as some of these diseases are caused by water contamination. The water supply to the building has been found to be contaminated. Residents' complaints about the problem have gone unheeded for four months. There is no respite yet for the residents, who  say no action has been taken by the municipal body to resolve the issue yet.
