Right from champagne bottles to the airline ticket, doctors received huge valuable gifts from the pharmaceutical companies. Central Government has made amendments in the pharmaceutical practices. A doctor can not receive the gift which costs more than Rs 1,000. Whichever pharma company or the doctor breach the rules will face the music as legal proceedings will take place against them.
