Borivali - Eksar area will get an eye-bank which is been initiated by the BMC’s health department. In this eye bank, donated eyes will be preserved and will be given to the needy ones. These services will be free of cost. “We have received many offers in response to the tender that was floated. The process will be finalized at the earliest. Whoever gets the contract, will handle collection, preserving and distribution of eyes,” said health officer Padmaja Keskar.
