Churchgate - Richfeel and Nargis Dutt Foundation organised a social programme in Churchgate on Monday. 'My Hair for cancer' event was held at Cross Maidan. Cancer patients face this problem of hair loss as they undergo chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy drugs are powerful medications that attack rapidly growing cancer cells including those in our hair roots. Due to which people lack confidence in facing other people. Thus to boost the morale of the cancer patients this event was set up.

Priya Dutt, Trustee, Nargis Dutt Foundation, who was present for the launch event of 'My Hair for Cancer' campaign said,"When you cut it don't waste it, share it with someone who needs it. Donate your hair for a cancer patient."

Apoorva Shah, Founder, Richfeel, commented,"Cancer patients fear losing hair and they lack confidence cause' of this, thus we at Richfeel provide free hair systems during their fight for cancer along with free hair kits to help regain hair."

Cancer can be a frightening disease but if we are together, it can be easily defeated. Lastly, as they say, Cancer should just be a chapter in your life, not the whole story.
