As per the guidelines of the state government, Incovacc vaccine is included under the COVID-19 vaccination programme. The said vaccination was started from April 22, 2023. However, vaccination has not started due to technical difficulties in uploading vaccines to the CoWIN portal. Therefore, the vaccination was stopped as per the instructions of the Union Health Ministry. Now, after receiving the notification that the vaccine has been included in the portal, new vaccination is being started from April 28, 2023.

This vaccine will increase the immunity of the cells and will provide protection without direct injection into the muscle. Citizens above 60 years of age are beneficiaries of this vaccine and this is a precautionary dose. Beneficiaries who have completed 6 months after receiving the second dose of Covishield or Covaxin are eligible for this precautionary dose.
