Mumbai - In a sensational revelation, it has come to fore that some of the lands from 33-hectare plot reserved for Metro-3 car shed will be used for commercial purposes and it will be developed for that purpose.
In an RTI query, it has been revealed that government had given a green signal to Metro-3 car shed on a piece of land in Kanjurmarg. But the MMRC had rejected this land by giving a reason for dispute on that land. When the Metro-1 car shed was constructed in the only 17-hectare land, why Metro-3 car shed needs the huge plot of 33 hectares, people have asked. When Mumbai Live asked about this to the concerned officials, they did not give a proper response to our queries.
Now, it becomes important to know who will be benefited from the Metro-3 car shed in Aarey Colony land.
