Mumbai – New scam has been exposed likewise Adarsh scam. RTI Activist has exposed Maitri scam. The building is constructed for high ranked government officials. Unauthorised construction has been carried out. Nine-storey building houses high ranked IAS and IPS officers.
As per reports stated by RTI Activist Anil Galgali, he enquired about the detailed information of Maitri building located in Santacruz. He sought information on 21 October 2016 from MHADA.
A contract of 226 Flats was awarded to B.G. Shirke on 4 February 2010. Anil Galgali has demanded demolition of unauthorised floors. Along with that legal proceeding against Shirke and officers.
