Lalbaug- State government has decided to allot homes to mill workers but not in Mumbai, in the outskirts of the city. This has upset the Mill Workers Union who protested against the decision. Upset workers carried out the protest outside the MHADA office on 28th November. Meanwhile mill workers will be getting homes nearby Kon village of Raigad. MHADA is going to conduct lottery of 2,417 homes for mill workers on 2nd December.
