Mumbai - Maharashtra State Electricity Board has collected Rs. 262 crores from 10th November to 13th November due to demonetisation. As MSEB is accepting Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes consumers paid off their pending bills. According to the MSEB spokesperson, electricity bill collection centers will be open till midnight and hence will collect more money.

Konkan- Rs. 93 crores and 80 lakhs
Pune- Rs. 74 crores and 83 lakhs
Aurangabad- Rs. 49 crores and 77 lakhs
Nagpur- Rs. 43 crores and 7 lakhs
