A lot of women employees working at Mhada have to leave their children at day care centres while coming to office. Mhada secretary Dr Bharat Bastewad informed Mumbai Live that hence forth, these women employees will not need to leave their children at day care centres as they will get one at the office itself.
As per the guidelines, it is required that every office should have this facility. Day care centres at corporate offices are quite common but such a sight is rare at government offices.
Seems like Mhada has taken a historic step by opening day care centres for their women employees.
These centres will be designed asthetically and will also have two women care takers. Special budgetary provisions have been made for the same.
Women employees have welcomed this move by Mhada.
