Mumbai- It’s been 20 years SRA scheme has introduced but still the execution is not done. For this reason, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadavnis has ordered slum rehabilitation Authority to take 5 big trusts lands under their authority.
Now even after 2 years of order land possession of land has not been taken. The delays are because of the trusts who are not willing to give their lands under SRA and it’s a big jolt to the trusts, the government has expressed its disappointment for the SRA. The trusts are FE Dinshaw, VK Lal, Sir Yusuf Mohammed Khot, AH Wadia, JJ Bhoy and there are another 3 private trusts which are added to these trusts. According to a senior official of SRA, the works are getting delayed due to some technical aspects of the project.
