Worli- If you are one of those who loves the scenic Konkan coast, then this exhibition is for you.
Artist Santosh Mayekar has put up 58 of his paintings at the Nehru Centre which depicting the flavours of the Konkan. He has used water colours to bring the western coast of the coountry to life. Though this is his first effort at a solo display, his paintings succeed in evoking the distinct aura of Konkan. Mayekar, who also teaches at the J J School of Art, has priced his paintings between Rs 7,000 and Rs 22,000. This exhibition is on till 26 December.
