Sadguru says the broom is a sacred household item. It is popularly believed that the goddess Lakshmi is fond of cleanliness and will visit the cleanest house first. Hence, the broom has always been worshipped, right since the ancient days. One should not discriminate on any grounds irrespective of caste, creed, sex or religion.
To avoid conflicts in the house, light a mustard oil lamp on cooked rice outside the main entrance every evening after sunset. If done regularly, positive consequences can be expected. Peace and happiness will prevail in the house.
