Governor to honour young female achievers on 5 March

Mumbai - Maharashtra governor C Vidyasagar Rao will felicitate girl achievers who have excelled in various fields and made our nation proud. 

The event will be held in the Shanmukhananda Hall on 5 March. Ten-year-old Rida will be the centre of attraction. Rida has by heart all the 18 episodes of the Bhagavad Gita. Tajmul Islam (8) from Kashmir has won the World Boxing Championship. Sushma Sharma (17) who cleared M.Sc in a young age is a mark of genius. Malawat Poorna has scaled the highest peak, Mount Everest. Prema Jaikumar daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver topped the Chartered Accountancy exam and proved that grit overpowers every hurdle.
