Congress' Priyanka Gandhi likely to campaign in Maharashtra

Amid internal crisis and the mass exodus of its leaders, Congress is trying its best to leave a mark in the assembly elections in Maharashtra which are scheduled on October 21.

In order to have a popular face, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi is likely campaign for the party in Maharashtra for the assembly polls. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will also address an election rally on October 13 in Mumbai. 

As per sources, Priyanka Gandhi will visit Maharashtra for two days to campaign for the candidates fielded by Congress in the assembly elections. Along with this, the Congress leader can also carry out a roadshow in Mumbai. 

However, there has been no official announcement regarding the same and the dates for Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to Maharashtra have not been finalised as well.

With the internal conflict fuelling inside Mumbai Congress, the party wants to bring Priyanka Gandhi to campaign and also to control the damage in the public eye.
