Sarkar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday unveiled a pictorial biography of Praful Patel, Nationalist Communist Party (NCP) leader and former aviation minister. Present at the book launch were honourable dignitaries which include Praful Patel, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray and Mukesh Ambani.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in his speech said, “I and Praful Patel are from Vidarbha. That’s why we engage in political battle. I apologise to Sharad Pawar (NCP) because it is true that there is the communist party in Maharashtra but in Gondiya there is only one party i.e. PPP (Praful Patel Party). Praful Patel always kept his feet on the ground in spite of building aviation connection at national and international level.”

Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray expressed his views on Praful Patel stating that mantra to his fitness is different. He is a politician and a businessman despite holding such power positions he has a very good relation with farmers and ground level staff. This is quite strange because not everyone can maintain such relation. He is not a kind of person who will sit idly. He has done a load of work in the field of football.

Big B also joined in with his speech on Praful Patel saying that “As you glance through the pages of this wonderful book, you can’t but praise the struggle and effort that your father Manoharbhai Patel has put in. I pray that you touch greater heights.”
