The new housing policy will be announced today. The dilapidated BDD chawl one of those which is to be reconstructed. Residents of BDD chawl demands 567sq.ft. area instead of 500sq.ft. Residents have also demanded 15 lakh what corpus fund has allocated to the organisation.
If the needs are not met, BDD will not go under reconstruction as per the dwellers.
