Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Bhaskar Jadhav has criticised the ruling BJP-led government over Mumbai’s recurring monsoon flooding, taking a swipe at the administration over waterlogging and infrastructure issues.

Reacting to the flooding situation in Mumbai after heavy rains, Jadhav targeted the ruling party and questioned the city's preparedness despite repeated monsoon-related problems every year. He alleged that the government focuses more on political matters while ignoring basic civic issues affecting citizens.

Jadhav's remarks came amid widespread criticism over flooded roads, traffic disruptions and drainage-related problems reported across Mumbai during intense rainfall. Opposition leaders have repeatedly raised concerns over stormwater drains, infrastructure planning and monsoon management.

The BJP and ruling alliance have defended their handling of civic issues, while political parties continue to trade allegations over responsibility for Mumbai’s monsoon challenges.
