Vikhroli – Varsha Nagar’s ward no 123 got reserved for women and BJP candidates Sangita Padwal, Babita Chauhan, Harshada Kode and Jayshree Chaughule geared up to contest elections from ward no. 123. However, BJP ignored Harshada Kode and Babita Chauhan, and gave a ticket to Sangita Padwal who had recently joined BJP party. This did not go well with other candidates who decided to rebel.
Enraged Harshada will now contest from ward no. 123 as an independent candidate against Sangita Padwal.
